I used to think that decisions were either made from the head or made from the heart. Now I wonder if they’re made somewhere else entirely – in a place that is neither in the heart nor the head but an in-between place that is without location or description.
What if you just felt around? Asked that in-between place for the answers and made each decision in your day by calling on something more than sensible intellect and fleeting emotions? I wonder what you’d find out?

I think your referring to your spirit and soul. If you asked them you’d probably find answers you weren’t expecting, answers that warm your soul and make your spirit sing with praise. One would hope anyway.
I’ve been flipping a coin to make all my decisions lately because a fortune-teller recently told me I think too much and that’s causing me trouble. It’s made me surprisingly much more optimistic and relaxed about my decisions to rely on neither my heart nor my head but a simple little coin (at the moment a Malaysian ringgit).
An interesting approach Sally – I might try this out for a day or so as an experiment!
