Dear Letterbox,
I wonder if you get bored, or even lonely, with all the junk mail and bills. You rarely see real letters these days – pretty envelopes containing party invitations, pages of hand written words from friends or little notes expressing gratitude. These sorts of letters seem to be a thing of the past.
Now it’s all about the number of e-mails in our inbox. But no matter who the sender, or how thoughtfully composed, it never replaces the thrill of tearing open an envelope and seeing handwriting across the page.
I know I miss it. I wonder if you do to?

Real letters ftw!
I agree! That thrill is gone!
Hi Tresna,
I would love to receive a real letter … and will send one in return.
I’ll email my address.

I miss those days where I’d sit & write long letters to friends & family – now it’s all about tapping out a quick one…
I love receiving letters. I still have every letter ever written to me, I take them out every now and again to re-read.
I have one on my work desk at the moment, it’s about cinnamon prunes, it comforts me and remind’s me of home
Am I too late to ask for one? I am very much into, proper invitations and thank you cards. I love getting letters but find it hard to find the time to write one.
oooh writing ‘real’ letters was one of my new years resolutions. It has kinda fallen by the wayside recently – so I must fix that asap!!!
